DFC funding for research collaboration with University of Ghana

The project "Immunity to malaria: Obstacles and opportunities for improved vaccines targeting the asexual blood stages of Plasmodium falciparum parasites", led by our longtime collaborator Michael Ofori from University of Ghana has received funding from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (after assessment by the Consultative Research Committee for Development Research) for a 5-year research and capacity building collaboration. Lea Barfod (EPITOPE), Lars Hviid (SURFACE), and Mary Lopez-Perez (SURFACE) are the Danish project partners at CMP, University of Copenhagen.
