Casper Hempel has received an OzMalNet Australia Malaria Research Cooperative Travel Award to visit George Grau's laboratory at University of Sydney to study the "Effects of erythropoietin (EPO) on endothelial nitric oxide synthase (NOS3) activity when exposed to malaria parasites in vitro".
